The Oklahoma Initiative on Aging and Health has made possible, along with OU and local hospitals, an opportunity for older citizens to get help developing better balance, flexibility, and movement. Open to anyone but focus is on older citizens. All exercises can be done with the support of a chair, totally standing, or sitting - and a combination of all!
Every Tuesday and Thursday, held in the Activity Center of the First Baptist Church. 10 a.m. until about 11 a.m. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and a water bottle is often handy. Movements including walking, bending, stretching and can be done seated of necessary.
