Recent develops in Stroud have witnessed an emerging historic center. At the prominent corner near The Rock Cafe, is a plaza honoring the heroes of Stroud who fought in many wars, a statue to a bugle boy, and just a short stroll beyond is the STROUD HOUSE.
It is hoped that one day costumed history guides and storytellers might be on hand for events to tell the stories of early challenges, triumphs, follies and solemn moments.
All together , the area will represent opportunities for educational, artistic, and leisure activities.
